When my husband, Keith, retired we decided to leave England to live in France. Living in France was a chellenge. We had to learn the French language. Trying the French food and delicious French wine was a wonderful experience.

We bought this 0ld French farmhouse with spacious rooms and huge oakbeams. This is where we would start our new life in France.

I wrote a diary recording our move to Central France and turned it into a book telling how we: Got a carte vital (health cover). Our meeting with the mairie to learn the local rules and regulations, How we renovated the property and created a gite out of the barn. Created a list of things to see and do in rural France.
